WE MADE IT!
"New year, new me" don't ya'll start with that this year. It's the same you. By March, you gone be back to cussing people out again even though you said no profanity in 2016. You ain't fooling nobody. And I'm gone be over here eating donuts and putting the gym off. Guys, let's not lie to ourselves in 2016, okay?
Instead of focusing on what we want to change about 2015, let's take a moment to reflect on some of the awesome moments of this year that we enjoyed. Hey, maybe some of the not so awesome things we remember too. I'll go first.
For me, 2015 has been a huge learning experience. I really got to know myself even more and I also grew to love myself a little deeper too. Even when my eyebrows aren't done. I started off my 2015 ending a relationship, but beginning a new journey with myself and God. I wish God could rub a sista feet after work though, or gone and send the brotha that can. I'm not rubbing his feet though, man feet be crusty. I don't care how much lotion ya'll use, you always miss a spot. Get between them toes brotha, get between them toes.
This year has been a roller coaster but roller coasters are fun. Or they make you throw up. Anyway, here are a few of my most memorable moments from this year:
1. The birth of Aintbritfunny.com. Thank you all for your continuous support. It took a lot for me to man up and become an open book but no one has stolen my pictures and made them into memes yet so I guess I'm doing pretty good, or not doing enough. Whatever.
2. My family hosting a huge going away party for my big move to LA. That brought out them cousins from the 90`s!
3. Moving to Los Angeles and driving cross country with my mommy. My booty ain't never been so stiff from sitting so long!
4. Moving into a roach infested apartment but not knowing it yet. Them roaches was like, "Surprise Girl".
5. One week after I moved in, I was on BlackandSexyTV. The dudes was actually black and sexy. No false advertisement there. Peace to ya'll.
6. Packing up all my sh!+ calling my big brother, and running away from what I thought would be dreams coming true, palm trees, and sunshine but was really hella money spent, roaches, and no parking spots and coming back to St. Louis.
7. Getting to come home and watch my nieces and nephew grow, love on my family and make this life work because it's the only one I have. Plus, my teeth look good in this picture.
Ladies and Gentlemen, I wish you a safe and happy new year. I'm sure a lot of you will be somewhere getting engaged while I'm stuffing my face with chicken wings. Invite me to that wedding though, I want to see what the groomsmen looking like. Thank you again for your support this year. I plan to give you even more in 2016!
Peace ya'll.
