100 Days of Britney

"Who coming with me to the movies this weekend?" The answer is NO ONE! I hear so many people telling me things that they can`t do alone. YES YOU CAN! I get it, you want that extra company. Someone to laugh at the same jokes that you do, share the popcorn, and of course buy the ticket. I know you don`t get paid until next week. It can be hard going places alone and seeing couples and groups of people having fun together and face it, you may even feel a little embarrassed. Ashamed that you`re by yourself. Well, there's nothing to be ashamed or embarrassed about. Unless you`re one of those really mean, annoying people that are a pain to be around, then you don`t deserve company or a free ticket. FOOL.

Iv`e been reading and learning about this "100 Days of Happy" Challenge and I liked it! But, I wanted to put my own spin on it. Iv`e talked to you all before about how I LOVE to date but it seems so hard to find men who are still into that. Most of my friends live in different cities or our schedules clash so it`s hard to call them up when I`m free for drinks, dinner or a movie. After becoming frustrated about guys who don`t date and friends being unavailable, I decided, "you know what? I can treat me good too". So I created a long list of things that I had been wanting to do but kept putting off because I didn't have anyone to do them with. I call it "100 Days of Britney" instead. If I want to go have a drink, I`ll do it. If want to go see a show, I`ll do it. If I want to go to a new fancy restaurant, I`m calling my mama so she can treat. Ya`ll know I`m trying to save money.

So far, the feeling has been very liberating. We often get together with other folks to take our minds off of our own responsibilities, but it`s nice to just hear yourself think and learn how to enjoy your own company. After all, we came in this world alone and we`re going to have to leave alone. Unless you`re a twin, you lucky devil. I always wanted a twin. Not a sister though, I wanna be the cute one. Like, what if she trick my boyfriend and steal him from me? I`d have to cut her.

Anyway, I`d like to challenge you all to try this. Just erase my name and add yours. I`d like to hear about your journey as well. I mean, after all, you do come here and listen to me rambling from time to time. If you can`t do something everyday, try at least once a week until you get to 100. I started my challenge while I was living in L.A. It was easy because I was in unfamiliar territory and had lots of exploring to do. But you never know what hidden gems you`ll find in your own city as well. I'm not sure if I will make it to 100, y'all know I'm trying to get my life together. We're gonna see how far we get though!

Iv`e already gotten 3 down! Ya`ll know I don`t like to be bothered anyway. I`ll still take you up on that date though.

DAY 1: Long Walk on Manhattan Beach

DAY 2: "The Counter" No carry out! Favorite meal and Sangria at my favorite burger spot in LA (why was this bill $30. Should of just gotten a water and fries)

DAY 3: I LOVE CUPCAKES! I spent the day in Beverly Hills eating this and looking at things I can`t afford. A parking space was one of them.
